Participate in a PFAS Health Research Study

Communities in Fountain Valley were exposed to per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in their drinking water as a result of firefighting foam used at a nearby air force base.

The CO SCOPE team hopes to determine how exposure to these chemicals may be impacting the health of residents who drank contaminated water.

This study is part of a nationwide study funded by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry.
